It’s Cyber Monday and I got a little distracted by the new Jaguar Type 00, so apologies for being a little late to this post. I’m often asked how one can gift The Autopian to a friend. The most obvious way is to print out every article, reformat those articles into a book, and then send that book to a special person in your life.
A less obvious way to show that amazing someone in your life that you care is to give the gift of an Autopian membership, which allows them to access all the perks of being an Autopian member, including the warm feeling in your belly that comes from helping keep this place alive for another year (and no longer from our t-shirts, which are now 99% free of Uranium 235-based paint).
Also, if you’ve wanted to become a member and haven’t yet pulled the trigger, why not let your significant other get you something extra special this year? The Cloth membership is now only $50 and gets your son/dog/girlfriend/butcher access to special emails, posts, and events. If you sign someone up for Vinyl or higher, the person getting the gift also has a good chance at getting a bonus t-shirt in addition to this year’s t-shirt:
All you have to do is click one of the links below:
- GIFT CLOTH ANNUAL – $50
- GIFT VINYL ANNUAL – $100
- GIFT VELOUR ANNUAL – $250
- GIFT RICH CORINTHIAN LEATHER – $1,000
By the way, if anyone actually gifts RCL we will send an extra member shirt for whomever made the gift as a thank-you bonus. If you click the link you can even specify the date you want them to receive it so you can make sure it arrives perfectly on time for Christmas, Hannukah, Festivus, Diwali, Yule, or whatever you’re celebrating.
Alternatively buy it for someone you hate. We still get the money either way.
Matt, please peek at my email from Saturday if you have 10 seconds. Corinthian bonus perk?
Happy Festivus. My T-shirt is NOT on the way.
I’m not asking for one, but I’ll take it. I like free t-shirts. 🙂
My wife: “So do I need to ask you the name of that weird website you spend too much time on so I can gift you a membership or, can you like, just re-up without my involvement?”
