Redundancy is something that’s seemingly inescapable in daily life. You’re almost certainly unnecessarily repetitive. Heck, I know I am. But it is much weirder when automakers miss such obvious errors.
WaterCar is known for making highway-capable amphibious cars, but its latest fare is confusing. The WaterCar EV can’t go very fast or very far and bizarrely, the base model isn’t even an EV. But it gets even weirder because the version that is an EV is called the WaterCar EV Fully Electric, as if the EV part didn’t drive the point home. Totally not a robot takes the win with this:
If I go to the ATM machine and use my PIN number, I might get enough cash to pay for the EV Fully Electric.
Look, I’m going to drive at a high rate of speed to the ATM Machine and use my PIN Number to pull out a wad of cash because I’m a VIP Person. I’m sorry for making your brain bleed.
Also, Rad Barchetta will make you giggle with this one:
The whole idea of an electric boat seems sketchy to me. I mean, what if the boat capsizes? You have to decide between being electrocuted or eaten by sharks! What do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO???
Canopysaurus often shows up in COTD. I don’t pick favorites, but some of you just know the kind of silly humor I love. The Tesla Model S is going to get “free” Supercharging for life again, which is fine and dandy, but leave it to our comedians to make it funny.
Trust Doesn’t Rust:
It’s the oldest but also the best looking car in their current line-up.
Canopysaurus:
Technically, all Tesla product lineups are current lineups.
Trust Doesn’t Rust:
The first-gen roadster is no longer sold.
Canopysaurus:
No, but it still ran on current.
Finally, I love it when comments reference parts of the Autopian canon. In this case, we wrote about a Tundra that sold on Bring a Trailer. Urban Runabout made a reference to Jason’s community truck idea:
I’m sure the HOA who bought it for their residents to share will be very happy with it.
Have a great evening, everyone!
Ah, yes. Today is a COTD day. It’s gonna be a good day.

I almost wish your NIC card had broken before you had a chance to post this. Almost.
RIP in peace to all these comments.
Thanks, Mercedes!
Whatever floats your boat…
