Get ready for some juicy behind-the-scenes details about The Autopian, because Jason, Matt, and I will be answering questions on Reddit’s famous r/cars subreddit! Here’s what you need to know about what will certainly be an AMA (“Ask Me Anything,” but you knew that) for the ages.
As our motto states, this website “exists to serve the car enthusiast community by creating content that informs and entertains, while celebrating the unifying quality of automobiles.” We’re all about growing the community, which is why we love Reddit. It’s a place for like-minded car people to gather, debate, laugh, cry, and just generally build camaraderie around the four-wheeled machines that we all love so dearly.
As such, we’re humbled to be on Reddit’s r/cars subreddit for an AMA next Tuesday August 20th at noon eastern. Ask us ANYTHING! Ask Jason about his weird curly hair. Ask him about the supercar that used VW Passat taillights, but rotated 90 degrees. Ask me about Jeep cooling systems, my move from Detroit to LA, the glory of the BMW i3, or — if you want to stump me — pop culture.
Matt will be there to answer your questions about how The Autopian operates, the various crazy conversations we’ve had in slack, or Texas. The man will not shut up about Texas. Beau my drop by, as well, to answer your queries.

As I’m in the wrong time zone, and will likely miss this, I’m going to post my question here :
David, instead of selling the black BMW i3, why not swap the wheels over between the two models and then sell the Gold one?
That way you can keep using the cheaper tyres you bought, you don’t have to suffer the “technical cost reduction” that BMW did to the newer model, you can keep using your brand new battery that the black one has, and you have more cash to spend on Jeeps.
