Last year we took over a corner of Galpin Ford in lovely Van Nuys, California for the annual Galpin Car Show and had the chance to meet a lot of readers and see a bunch of amazing cars. We’re doing it again this year and we’re trying to put together an Autopian section for readers to show off their cars. If you’re anywhere nearby or can get to California on October 20th, 2024 fill out this form, let people know your car club is “The Autopian” and then come on down.
Yes! It’s that easy. You don’t need to be a member, a commenter, or anything. Just fill out this form, let people know your car club is “The Autopian” and… that’s it. If you don’t have a car or a car you want to show off (there’s a huge leeway for Autopian readers and an expectation of some amazing humdrum machines) that’s ok! Just show up at Galpin Ford on Sunday, October 20th between 9 am and 2 PM and come hang out.
This show truly has everything. Lowriders, lifted trucks, microcars, Aston Martin Cygnets, and even Lada Niva watermelons. There’s food, trampolines, a giant Ferris Wheel, and a whole section devoted to weird Autopian cars. Do you want to see the Aztek? Of course you do!
Check out the fun time we had last year:
Remember, you can join us and even feature your car by filling out this form and selection The Autopian as your car club. We can’t wait to see you!
I am planning to be there, but not sure the GTO will be. Probably will show up in the Accord. Can’t really stay the whole time anyway.
That was a great show! Can’t guarantee the Monza will be there but I definitely will.
Would love to come out, could be a ton of fun!
Any interest in seeing an e39 540i or rather a Bolt EUV? Both of these are barely seen on the road.
I got a 2003 Matrix XRS, 230K miles, no heater, paint is peeling off.
YES! THIS IS AUTOPIA!
Can we get Mercedes and SWG and Adrian and the Bishop there? Also it would be great to talk to David, Jason and Beau again.
I’ll do my best to make it up there from points south. Thankfully I don’t see any schedule conflicts for that day.
Is a 2002 Miata interesting enough to be in the show?
Yes
Done and done
This would be a total blast; I wish I lived closer!
I had a fantastic time last year, I’m disappointed that I can’t make it again, but shortly after last year’s show, I got an incredible job offer to relocate to the land of Project Cactusâ„¢, and haven’t regretted it.
I think we are all wondering if David is pouring the old Jeep parts out of the wheelbarrow and filling it with shrimp.
I’m sure he will clean the wheelbarrow with carb cleaner before putting shrimp in it. Food safety first!
Aw, man, that’s the same weekend as our housewarming party. No fair.
Throw the party at Galpin?
