One of the more hilarious bits of car news lately was the announcement of Honda and Nissan getting in bed with each other. It seems this has confused a bit of everyone, perhaps including even Honda.
Today, Matt wrote that Nissan wanted this merger to be one of equals. Now where have we heard that one before? Now, some of you gave your normal insightful comments, but we’re here for the puns, starting with Arch Duke Maxyenko:

What is Nissan going to do now? Well they could go Rogue, but at this point it would take an Armada of Titans of industry to do so. Maybe this is just a negotiating Juke so the execs can still try to get their Kicks. Altima(tly) though, it seems like nothing but the dream of a bunch of Muranos.

Grey alien in a beige sedan:
A fair lady of industry you say? Maybe there’s another stanza of this story to be written? They won’t be able to push the boundaries of their frontier without it. With the right merger, their skyline might just be a bit brighter. I’m sure they’ll find the right path finder, who can help them stretch their sales to infiniti and beyond (just like buzz lightyear).
MAX FRESH OFF:
Take note, I doubt Nissan will be able turn over a new leaf. I don’t think their future is very sunny these dayz.
Parsko:
Pao Pao, these comments are the Cherry on top.
Excellent. All of you have great big Altima energy! Speaking of energy, there have been reports about all of those crazy powerful electric cars burning up tires. Thomas wrote about an EV that spins its tires to park itself and, well, CU_Wallaby has a point:
You know, I always thought EVs were too gentle on their tires. This is a good fix for that problem.
Yesterday, Jason wrote about a neat tool to automatically close an open convertible top in rain. 6thtimearound points out something interesting about the price:
Just want to add that adjusted for inflation, that $39.50 price for only the top is equivalent to $467 today.
This is why I try to add inflation-adjusted prices to articles about classic cars. It’s always interesting to see what a certain dollar amount is like in today’s cash.
Have a great evening, everyone!
These puns are Xterra-ble.
Hell yeah!
