Wow, you're reading this? Thanks! If you're into RC cars and I seem vaguely familiar, it's because I spent over 25 years writing and editing RC car news, reviews, and tech articles in print and online. What else, what else ... I have a degree in Film Studies (useless), most of a degree in Graphic Design (useful), and I'm married to a wonderful woman with horrible taste in men. Thanks to her, we have a terrific daughter who just earned her Journalism degree and is way, waaay more together that I was at her age. Or right now.

If Morgan Wallen is up there… I’ll be honest I don’t know who he is… But Taylor Swift should be on the country mount Rushmore. Yes she has transitioned mostly into the pop music. Nonetheless, the woman can literally influence the global economy.
Also Dolly. Dolly is just a treasure.
Who the hell is Kane Brown and Morgan Wallen? Nevermind, I don’t even want to know…

Morgan Wallen may currently be the the most influential, but that isn’t saying much considering modern country music is an overflowing dumpster of burning week-old diapers.
A Mt Rushmore is going to be really hard, but for me (and my biases) it’s going to be George Jones, George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Dolly. But swapping Strait and Brooks for Merle, Hank, Willie, Patsy Cline, or Loretta Lynn are all valid. But I think we can all agree Dolly and George Jones absolutely need to be on that mountain.
So/too many to choose from. I’d throw John Prine in there as well.
The good news is that the underlying geology will not permit Trump to deface Mt. Rushmore with his ugly mug.

This actually was comforting. Thank you.
Just saying, probably not best to have a screenshot with someone’s email address.
This is one of the best TFTS in a LONGGG time! Well done commentary by Peter also. *renews membership again*
A discussion of country music without mentioning Waylon Jennings is an incomplete country music discussion

Right? It’s like no one understands country music or Mount Rushmore.
I’m way old school, so I’d be looking to select from artists like Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, and George Jones. You might do better, but not much. I’m not going to be angry at people who are thinking of artists like Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, and George Strait. But Morgan {expletive deleted} Wallen?
