officially lost it at “It’s-a me, Kylo Ferrari.”
Just happened on White Noise last night, and not only is it great, it uses the awful malaise-mobiles of my youth to creep me out even more. It has car stunts AND sitting in traffic, and a Land Rover, and Driver actually does a lot of driving.
I will probably pay a nominal amount just to see Mr Driver out of his usual weird ear-covering haircut.
Heat is actually my favorite film! So good.
Heat is Mann’s best, but Collateral is my favorite. “Since when did any of this become a negotiation?”
I can’t really add anything to that, so I’ll just say that Adam Driver was good in a 2014 dramedy called ‘This is Where I Leave You’. He and his siblings are all [chronologically] adults but he plays the annoying younger brother of the group.
The cast includes Tina Fey, Timothy Olyphant, Jane Fonda, Jason Bateman, Rose Byrne, Connie Britton, Dax Shepard, Abigail Spencer, Corey Stoll (played Hemingway in ‘Midnight in Paris’), and Ben Schwartz (Jean-Ralphio in Parks and Recreation).
A 1971 Jaaag XK-E and a 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S (Cabrio) also play important roles. 🙂
Wait: does Tina drive the Jag?
if so I gotta see that!
I would watch Tina drive a Yugo.
I would watch Tina sit in a cardboard box making vroom-vroom noises
No – the XK-E belongs to Dax Shepard’s character.
I have not heard of this movie, though I like many of the actors you mention, so thanks for the recommendation!
You’re very welcome!
